Benefits of Pole dancing

Oh god, where to start?? It’s great on its own or used as a form of cross-training. Its does amazing things physically but is also mentally rewarding. It helps to relieve stress and keep the body active and sometimes all you need do is warm up and do a three minute routine- trust me it will be enough.

 

Physical- It’s amazing!! The strength you will gain is phenomenal and you will gain it in a short amount of time. The effects it has for weight loss are not to be ignored either. Combine it with a healthier lifestyle and you will be at your goal a LOT faster. I had a lady lose over half a stone during her first course of six weeks and she claims to not have done anything extra! Also the fact that you have to keep movements as fluid and graceful as possible means that you are improving you co-ordination immensely.

 

Mental- What can I say? You can be trying a move for weeks and then you suddenly get it and you’re jumping up and down going “I did it!!” The amount of self-esteem and confidence it can build up is immense. Also if you are a teacher and you know how difficult it has been for a pupil to get something and they finally do you’re jumping up and down with them! The empowerment felt on all levels is hard to beat.
